Oh Boy

Black Cab Sessions - Bon Iver from Aaron Landry on Vimeo.
Well, your really in for it now. Thanks to unruly things I have discovered the black cab sessions. I'm obsessed, which means if you can't appreciate the vaguely faulty camera angles and occasional sound of wind against the low def. speakers, then I have probably (and oh so sadly) just lost some readers.
But, please. One of a kind recording from musicians in a moving cab? Frankly, if you can't appreciate that, I don't know how you found yourself here in the first place.

What I really mean to say is I will be putting up waay too many black sessions from here on out. Its up to you to tell me when to stop. And trust me, I will appreciate it, the telling that is, as much as I may grumble about the wonderful uniqueness of a live recording.

But, back to this particular video, Bon Iver is an indie folk singer/songwriter from Eau Claire Wisconsin, soon to be on tour and NPR's World Cafe. You can check out his website for tour dates, or to listen to a few other song downloads. Its raining momentarily and it is very befitting of his particular sound. I have the urge to make tea and go marry a carpenter....
